Benjamin Maxwell DeYoung died peacefully at home on August 28th, 2023. He was born April 1st, 1976 in Duarte, California to Barbara Ruth Maxwell and Michael James DeYoung. He was the third of four rambunctious boys. He grew up mainly in Pocatello, Idaho with a few years living in Frankfort, Indiana with his mom.
During his school years, he swam competitively and lettered as a Sophomore while attending Frankfort High School in Indiana. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1994. Ben enjoyed many things. He loved all genres of music, reading, computer games, Nascar and Formula 1 racing, watching the Golden Knights hockey games, and helping people, especially the elderly and his family. His dream was to attend the Le Mans in France. He also had a long standing relationship with Captain Morgan.
He loved animals, especially dogs. Ben always had a dog or two. He also loved being an uncle. Ben had ten nieces and nephews plus friends’ children that he spoiled and supported in everything they did. They all loved him for his personality and sense of humor. Good ole Uncle Bent.
